Palio della Costa Etrusca at Easter. There is not only
the traditional horse race but also a series of feasts,
festivals and cultural events in the village of San Vincenzo.

In Bibbona, very near to the sea, in the wood area of the
Macchia della Magona takes place the “gran fondo costa
degli etruschi”, a national mountan-bike race. The Macchia
della Magona, bioenergetic oasis of the C.N.R., is inhabited
by all the species of the mediterranean vegetation and
represents an ideal habitat for fallow-deer, moufflons,
foxes and squirrels.
The first Sunday after the 15th in Campiglia Marittima
there is the feast of “Calendimaggio”: old trades revive,
there is the historic procession, music concerts, actors’
and tumblers’ shows, bow matches and the award of the Palio.
Maggiolino Show in Cecina: international Maggiolino meeting,
that gathers the lovers of this car.

“Targa Cecina” in Cecina. Born in 1929 as foot-race, in

of allegoric carts.

and musicians. For 20 years there has been taking place
a Literary Prize among the most important in Italy.
